In partnership with Daniel Dawes, Executive Director of the Satcher Heath Leadership Institute, Morehouse School of Medicine, and 1Joshua Group, Better Medicare Alliance is hosting a one-day forum on advancing health equity in Medicare Advantage.
Bringing thought leaders, community and faith-based organizations, health care providers, patient organizations, health plans, and government leaders together, attendees will share and discuss the challenges and opportunities of addressing health equity and the value of coordinated, person-centered care for beneficiaries in Medicare Advantage. Recognizing the benefit to Medicare beneficiaries, the Forum will include Medicare Advantage organizations and partners currently addressing health disparities to highlight their successes and challenges in advancing health equity.
Speakers and guests are invited to participate with subject matter experts, providers, policymakers, and consumers to have a thoughtful, in-depth discussion of the issues surrounding health equity in Medicare Advantage. The primary objective of this Forum will be identifying key barriers and opportunities to tackle health disparities across stakeholders and collectively develop solutions to advance health equity. Sessions will be developed to facilitate this conversation and goal.
